Problem: I seem to be getting a conflict with Front Page
98 (or 2000) extensions, is RWP incompatible with them?
Solution: The default for how RWP will install itself
is as a virtual directory which will cause conflicts with Microsoft
Front Page Extensions and possibly other third party plug-in's
for IIS. The way to solve this issue is to isolate RWP into it's
own memory space by making it a Virtual Application. First the
virtual directory is converted into a application by clicking
on the CREATE button under the directory PROPERTIES dialog box.
The most important part to this process though is the fact
the name is left blank. If a name is inserted IIS will not
be able to find the page RISWEB.ISA page when it is called from
a web browser. The web administrator is then free to click on
the RUN IN SEPERATE MEMORY SPACE box and this should clear all
current conflicts once the website is stopped and restarted.
